Thanksgiving- any one else at work?

I'll be working third tonight:ack2:, then leaving for Bonaire for a week:seeya:. Already worked 47 hours this week......:ack2:

Family has Macy's parade on. Haven't seen some many "guests" wth dead careers in my life. Just watched Jon Stamos' career jump the shark with a ridiculous dance and lip-sync routine. Can't wait for Gloria Gaynor and Cindy Lauper. :icon_bs:

24 hours a week, 7 months a year?
:)

It never ends...

This is one of those days where I wish I had one of those jobs with my name on my shirt.

Actually, that would be a generous estimate and you know, sometimes I think going blue collar wouldn't be such a bad thing.

But Chris, you wouldn't enjoy the paycheck, trust me :ack2:

Probably not. Buy having gotten here at quarter to 5 so I could get enough done to make the family dinner this afternoon wasn't so fun either.

Like everything, there are tradeoffs. Less lifestyle wouldn't bother me that much, but not being in charge of my own destiny would be tough.

3.5 times pay today and don't have to deal with the family until about 7 minutes before it is time to eat- unless I have to work some OT that is...

Smart man.

+1

I worked Veterans Day, today and tomorrow- all holidays for me. It is really only 2.5 times pay since I get paid for the holiday and would get that if I laid on my couch at home vs at work but still.

I missed KW because of work so makes me feel better getting an extra week and a half worth of pay over it.
