I'd love to see more pictures of the actual build process. Great thread, thanks for sharing the pictures and the info. The more I look at the PP boats, the more I notice the crisp straight lines and overall classy looking boats. Fantastic work.

Sir you are very welcome and thank you for the kind words, I have a lot photos to put up we spent a lot of time at PP on mold building and then from Danny's race effort things like the bagging went into the production line a long time ago.

I know this may be stupid but I have some questions?
1. Why did power play stop building boats?
2. How come I can never find any for sale?
3. Thanks for all the information in this thread great read and COOL pictures!

1. I will get into that later on in the thread.

2. People like the Boat and if one comes up for sale there is a buyer waiting in some cases.

3. You are very welcome and thanks for reading and the nice comments.

I remember my 1990 33 PP had a straight bottom with out a notched transom, what was the reason for the notch ??
I mean was there a real ride performance + or not really ???
I also liked the way the exhaust came out at the rubrail on the low profile ones,,,but i agree that a little more freeboard was a good idea...although the 6 inches made a differents in the side wind runs.

Any input on that ??

And could we get danny on here somehow ???

The new 33 had a straight transom, while the 25 and 38 had stepped transoms, it let's you get the prop shaft up a little more depending on the length of the setback.

The raised freeboard 33 let the cockpit have more depth and it makes a much nicer inboard setup ,everything fits under the hatch very easy.
