All my Molds are usually cored, The way we worked at PP the Tooling was moved around a lot(sometimes kept across the street) and Danny was worried about damage, this solid mold gave him piece of mind like if the thing got bumped on the side going in through a door opening.

The way it was built you could push it through a block wall.

LOL

The boats where build tuff as well.
I stuffed my 33 ( 1990 model ) @ 74 MPH all the way to the bottom of the river "Rhein" in germany, poped back up and only had a scratch on the hull.....the boat was ok and i was down for 2-3 days,,still feel my back today .
After that i decided to go with bigger power so i could span the wakes of the huge ships better..lol
It worked too, hehehehe

He had a good glass crew and the boats always had a clean glass job.

I was with Favya Shoes in 81 Danny was rafted up next to our Cat (38 Wood Cougar ) anyway I had the boat checked out and polished race morning and ready for the boss about this time I heard a noise behind me stomp stomp stomp looked and my spotless deck there were these black muddy shoe marks over all 12 feet of it and there was Danny with a busted foot in a cast (bare foot skiing hit something) hopping from us to his boat.

Took off my shirt and quickly cleaned the boat up the guy was going to run the worlds with a busted foot I could clean the foot prints off.
