Sarasota to Ft. Myers run.

I got my best friend and a few snow birds coming down from the North.
Will be going to Ft Myers and back, from Sarasota on Jan 20th. Leaving mid Am. lunch around Ft. Myers Beach, etc. chick watching in the PM. coming back early evening, late PM.
Anyone interested joining us in the ride?, let me know. The more boats the better.

He, he. Actually Wrink I will be on the water Friday am in coolish temps running from Ft Myers 50 miles south to Naples. Putting boat on display for fund raiser for battered women & their kids. Then Saturday may do another fund raising event for Red Cross. Kinda hard to say no to things like that. I will just bundle up. Beats the below zero temps in Toronto this morning.

Peter. Have a great trip to Ft Myers. There is a chance I may run back up to Ft Myers on Monday 20th to put the boat away. Let me know your plans and possibly it may work out to meet. It will warm up by then I'm sure.

Yeah, no kidding! I'm leaving 4 degrees and while 56-60 is better than 4, the real feel is suppose to be in the high 40's and low 50's. That's stinks being from the north and being in Tampa for a week. Let's hope that changes when I return for another business trip the week of Feb 16.

:rant:It is 14 in NJ and snowing right now, tonight it will dip down to 4 with wind chills in the negative numbers!!!!!
To make it worse, it is not going to get above freezing for at least another week!

Can't wait for the Miami Boat Show!!!!!!

Shoulder is geting better, Thanks. I think I can handle a little excursion, but nothing serious rough waters yet. I'll be good to go by March.
Glad to see your marina came through for you. I saw the posts.
BTW. While your boat is worked on, check out the Merc. recall service bulletin. Mind as well get it done now.

Peter, please tell me you are not on the Gulf today as planned? I guess you could go down the Intracoastal but not a great day to be on the water. You will have to find another way to entertain your guests from the North. They will just be happy there is no snow.

While I am a boat nut. I'm not a polar bear. We rescheduled for some warmer days. I got the fire place going, and running out of wood.

hi pete, boat almost done, had to rebuild starboard lower also, this is being done at no charge, now i have two new outdrives! temps are supposed to be around 70's this saturday up here. have a good trip.

hi pete, also installed ocean led u/w blue lights last week, ocean led wants me to send pics when i get back in. easy to install and wire. tell family hi.

Cold and windy.
I just bought some more LED's also but I'm waiting for warmer temps to play on the boat and install. May be this weekend.
