RIP - Jeremy Lusk

It was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Them guys are nuts. What a shame. RIP JL

Crazy bastards. I have a CR250 and I always thought about trying that but didnt want to wind up like him.

RIP

so sad, what a waste of what could have been a good life, I don't know anything about the sport, but I have to wonder if it is it really a sport if to be the best you are facing potential death when you compete

With all do respect my friend, seriously, we risk our lives for fun on a Sunday run. It's just a little more real when you see it on video. I should've been gone a long time ago, along with many others here ;)

So very true, as we all know from this past season. Our sport had way to many tragic loses last year, but we will still go out this year and ride on that edge for the thrill.

Yeah- running at the ragged edge can be dangerous. But jumping a motocross bike 80 feet into the air AND doing a backwards loop? I'm surprised there hasn't been dozens of deaths from this one.

Either way, it's sad to see anyone die young.

There have been many deaths and many more crippling injuries. IMHO power toys arent meant to be upside-down. I loved watching him just for the sheer fact of the size of stone he and many others had. He was very high profile in the sport and getting the press when he was killed. I rode bikes and sleds growing up and hit many trees and dumped many times. Just lucky not to had permanent injuries. I have had the itch to get back into MX but have so far help off. My golf cart is just fine right now. This new extreme sports is just what it is named, and a huge blast to watch. Obviously he died doing what he loved and it is a shame he was so young. Rip.
