I used/am using West Marine 105 resin, 205 hardener. I bought 6 little pre-packaged "envelopes".
Cabosil is not anything I am familiar with or know about.
I just keep layering on resin and sanding off the excess that runs or sags.
When it was cooler I used some vinyl tape to help dam up the flow and slow down the sags.
I am just about done now.
I may have one more coat to do then finish sanding. Seems like it is far stronger than my earlier repair job. Hopefully that stays true.
I take it Cabosil is something that can be added to thicken the resin and help keep it in place, huh?
I kept thinking that if I had a mold and could flip everything upside down, then the resin would be perfect
