But Russia doesn't want anything to do with us anymore anyway. We already kicked their a$$es out of Afghanistan and Europe. And we didn't even have to shoot a single round at them. And unlike so many of our enemies they're at least smart enough to concern themselves with their own self-interest. Funny thing- it turns out that they really had no good reason to want anything in post-war Europe anyway. Nothing they didn't have at home to begin with. Had the USSR focused on their own country after the war, they'd have a seat at the big boy's table today. But instead of leveraging their own national resources, they went for that kooky, power-mad land grab. And ended up with some of the bleakest real estate on the planet. $hit, we could have sold them Newark, Detroit and Gary, Indiana cheap and we'd have both been further ahead.
