Chatted with Al Jr and Scott for a bit at the dunker certification. They have an issue with #4 engine from testing yesterday. Not looking real promising at the moment.....

They will not be running for sure. The number 4engine is burned,and the boat will not run on 3, it would ruin the props."

Had a good time chatting with Scott and meeting Al Jr and the gang. Even though they were extremely disappointed, and could have just stayed home, they came up with the entire group and stayed around the entire weekend to chat with fans and answer questions. They are looking forward to the next chance they get to have a shot at the record. Al Jr and Scott came over and took the swimmong and dunk test so they would be certified to run a closed canopy boat for when their next chance arises. I ghave a few pics of the toys they bring along. Hopefully someone has a pic of the yellow pickup, for some reason I missed it. Enjoy....

I was wondering how Al Jr is coming along with Phenomenon boat? Does he have a date for the record run, or is the project cancelled?
