Pee or not to Pee‏

Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes & the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem).

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their BUTT----doing drugs while I work.

Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could call the program "URINE OR YOU'RE OUT"!

Something has to change in this country - AND SOON!

P.S. Just a thought, all politicians should have to pass a urine test too!

I agree also but it wouldn't fix the problem. Homelessness and crime would go through the roof. The ghetto would become more like a 3rd world country and I guarantee it would spill out of the ghetto and into everywhere else.

They should have thought of this when they started the downward spiral that is welfare. Now we are so far along we can't just abruptly end it like that. We have to restore work ethics. There are ways I could suggest to do this but they are definately not PC.

I agree with the premise of this thread, but that is a very good point, and a sad statement of the current state of things. How many of us have known, or known of, perfectly healthy people who scam the system? It's just one more insane aspect of this country we live in.

It would be nice if there was a way to dial it back a bit instead of a total reset, but the gubment does not work that way. :smash:

How the hell are you going to pull this off when you have an admitted dope smoker pro welfare El Presidente'???

If you receive any form of welfare, it should be mandatory sterilization. Maybe after a small grace period but no more popping babies out to increase your 'income'.

yep, I agree. pizz test for a check. Let the getto over fill and they will "take care" of them selves. if ti over spills...I'm ready for em!

people should have to pee clean and prove they're looking for work in order to get welfare. or like clay said, i need in on this corrupt money.

Let's go to the other end of the spectrum and suggest every kid in a public school or on a college scholarship must also pass a pee test.

What is the percentage of corruption that happens with welfare???

Is there an established % given to this topic.

Who cares!! If it stops 10% fraud we be in the good

I been singing the pee to pay thing for a long time and by the way if they can walk they can pick up litter on the side of the street or waters edge

why not make participants work (Workfair) for welfare if they are able bodied
