I think she has set out and accomplished what she wanted to do as gov of Alaska. I also see her running for senate for 2010 after she takes a little time to school herself on not being such an outsider.
it is very hard to go from gov to pres, I think this is part of 7 year building of a career.
All due respect, my friend, but ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR BLINKING MIND???
Instead of a one-term governor, she's now a one-half term governor, with her only prior public service experience as MAYOR OF WASILLA, A TOWN OF LESS THAN 10,000 IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE ALASKA, where, it has been copiously reported,
she did a somewhat less than stellar job.
She needs to school herself, allright, but not exactly on 'being such an outsider'.
:nopity:
Here's a good summation:
Yes, she definitely plans to run for president. She thinks so highly of herself...just like Michael Jackson, she has been surrounded by sycophants who fawn over her, and she has bought into all their flattery. She thinks she is all ready to be president, doesn't need any more training (after all those weeks as Governor of Alaska...). She thinks she'll be able to relax a bit now, not be bothered with the governor's minimal tasks, and now she can work on laying the groundwork for what she thinks will be her successful run for the GOP nomination.
Of course, this is all laughable.
She is toast. The Joe-The-Plumber crowd will still gush over her, but that loony handful of the far right is not enough to get her anything but an occasional speakers fee.
This is great news for Huckabee and Romney - their stock just went up a lot. It's still early, but at this point I'd say one of them is going to be the 2012 GOP nominee.
