OPA Signs AMSOIL as Title Sponsor for Orange Beach

OPA would like to thank AMSOIL for stepping up as the title sponsor for the 2010 World Championship Races in Orange Beach Alabama.

"There's a lot of expenses that go into putting on a two race event and this extra money really helps us to meet our objective of paying the teams to race in Orange Beach" said Smitty.

We look forward to working with AMSOIL into the future events as well.

Thanks AMSOIL. I have been using it for 10 years, and wouldn't consider anything else. To see their name as title sponsor let's me know that AMSOIL is in this for awhile to come.
Good Catch, OPA!
Daredevil Racing will see Y'all in Orange Beach.

Look forward to it Frankie, congrats to him on his finish. It will be nice to have another class 4 boat to race with as with his boat being 32' it cant run in class 5 as he did in Clearwater. As I found out in Solomons by being dqed for breaking out by .04 OPA is strictly enforcing the rules this year and as much as I miss running SBI, what a pleasure it is to see OPA stepping up and doing so and eliminating the grey areas. I am curious though with his great finish, how did a P class boat fail inspection?

:D

Augie
He ran and ran and ran and FINISHED in Clearwater. Like the energizer bunny. AND there were many people cheering him on for a win.
Can you guess why?

Ma, he really finished? Well good for him, I just wish I could race at The Worlds against him so I could throw Salamis at him at the start like in the early 2000's. Now That Would Be Great!

Seriously, how does a P class boat fail a post race inspection and be DQ'd?

I spoke to Daredevil yesterday. He said his GPS didn't record the race. So even though he came in second. Even though the other two boats broke down and didn't finish, he got 4th out of 4 boats.
