Officially unemployed.

Good to hear the trip went well. I have to agree with you this is some awesome country out here. Make sure the A/C is blowing cold because July & August are right around the corner. You can always head a couple hours north for some refreshing temps in the dead of summer.

I'll get in touch with you when you get settled.

Well, we made it !
About 200 miles today. I'm damn glad we stopped when we did last night. Only 3 hours from the doublewide, but glad I got some rest to make the drive today.
We rolled THROUGH the Superstion mountains, I mean up and down and winding through. Another beautiful day, lots of pics, but they can't possibly do justice to actually being here.
Just drop the truck down to 2nd gear rolling down those big hills with the boat pushing me (no trailer brakes) and we were fine.
Again, what beautiful country. Headed down the 260 to 87, incredible ride.
JJ did good in picking out the new doublewide, I have a huge cactus in the front yard, and palm trees in the back.
Already have the boat parked in the back yard, and I'm sitting out under the veranda in shorts drinking beers.
The dogs are digging it too.
Good news, the Van driver called a few hours ago, and he's already here and ready to drop off our "stuff" at 8:00 am tomorow.
I understand why people come here and never leave, I may be eating my words come July/August.

Glad to see you made it!! Get that boat done and post some pics of Havasu! :)

Welcome to the West brother! I'll be heading out to Palm Desert on Thursday for a little vacation time. Glad you made it safe and sound. Does "Hot Stuff" seem happy to be back in the land of no layups? :D

"Hot Stuff" is in a place that I can't walk y to go outside without seeing her, and I'm dying to get back to work on her, but the wife is still here, so I'm working on setting up the house stuff.
Gotta say, this house she found, man, I'm living like a rock star, just need to get a hot tub, and I'm all set.

you have to keep one snow shovel in the bar area ! it will remind you why you moved ! looks great, you can never go wrong with palm trees !:sifone:
Good call.
I have six palm trees in the back, and a catcus in the fronyt yard. And no lawn to mow.
My one dog is bringing me rocks from the garden to throw for her (yes, we fed her lead chipped paint as a puppy)
Funny thing is that she already found her favorite rock and keeps going back to it.
I'm going to paint some green eyes on it and name it Pepe.:sifone:

Welcome home- just don't go getting a lake boat on us now that you are one of them Western'ers
I am, and will always be old-school offshore.

I missed it - is Doublewide the city or what you are moving in to?
Just a reference to Camelot.

Glad to see you made it!! Get that boat done and post some pics of Havasu! :)

You just want to see boobies wearing pasties.:sifone:
Now that I have good weather 98% of the year, I might get a bit further.
I'm dying to get her done after looking at her in the rear-view for the past week.

Nice work Tim! I've got a snow-brush I keep in my garage. I actually just picked it up and moved it yesterday while digging for some camaro parts...

Be sure to keep a snow shovel. Might come in handy for whacking any scorpions that wander onto your patio.:biggrinjester:

congrats on the move...glad all is well.....and you just wait for july/august....you will be working on the boat at night....get unpacked and enjoy
