Nice looking day yesterday. Wind blew all day 15 to 25 mph., then it poured at 7pm. Cooler today, but only 9 mph wind. Maybe a boat ride?

I was thinking, when I no longer have a running offshore boat, can I still post on an offshore forum?

Then I realized it didn't stop Paul, Bobcat or Bob M. :)

Now that's where you'd be wrong. Since all Offshore Race Organizations, and the APBA, have a Class Seven open to all V Hulls between 20' and 22', and with any single outboard up to 300 HP, I believe Bobcats boat fits? So he has a running offshore boat. Also, in 2014, the Offshore Powerboat Association created the pontoon class, so now a pontoon boat would be an offshore boat. http://seriousoffshore.com/forums/content.php?r=181-Ozarks-Lake-Race-2014-Toon-Race

Plus, now there is a RIB Offshore Class, http://p1ribs.com/ , so RIB's qualify as offshore boats.

So, after reviewing all of the evidence submitted above, the verdict is that everyone of us has at least one running offshore boat.

I'm going to get something with a single small block, a head and a galley and go float. End my dependency on the Big Block Crack Gods.

My Non-Offshore Boat spends considerably more time Offshore than 80% of the Online Boating Community:eek:

Looks like no Wind in Morehead City this Weekend.....

The picture above is Sleeping Bear Dunes. Lake Michigan was flat. It was a great day running in that water. Does not happen very often.
