My boat is done. It is being cleaned and touch ups done and I pick it up Monday. I have to lay carpet, reinstall the cockpit, put the lowers on, pressure test them and fill the drives.

I need to change the oil in the Hydra Sport yet. Was working on doing it last fall, and the neighbor came over that just lost her husband. She was more important then the oil change. The Marina’s kicked it in gear today. They must have dropped in 20 boats.

I changed the lower unit oil on all of the outboards. I would hate to have them freeze. I needed to dump the Hydra Sport in to get warm. I ran out of time and did the lower unit and parked it. The engine oil only had a few hours on it. No big deal. I believe with the correct prop on it, I we will use it more this summer. 28 mph sucked, the new 43 is much better. Hard to believe no one ever complained about the lack of performance on that boat.

Made arrangements to get the Hydra Sport out of storage at the end of the week. Friday calling for 37 degrees. Far out. Mother Nature and Governor Bitchmeyer are trying to put me in the nut house.
