Mornin!:seeya:

Got about a Week until FDOT shuts the Cow Key Bridge down to one Lane for repairs....That'll take 6 Months ...

Going to be a Nightmare going in and out of KW....:banghead:

Would be easier for you to just stop by your neighbors on Cudjoe and enjoy a cold beverage.:cheers2:

I was watching the first season of Miami Vice.

The Murray Chris Craft Stinger 390 used for the first season is the original, first and best Miami Vice boat and much better than the later Wellcraft boats. Prove me wrong.

The Wellcraft people hid them all so nobody would remember that a Stinger 390 was the original, first, best and coolest of all Miami Vice boats.

Was a Stinger Fittipaldi in Tequila Sunrise, too.

Yes. Not my color but it shows the pop culture dominance of the Chris Craft brand between 1984 and 1988. I think the Chris Craft Stinger did more for the performance boat surge in the late 80s than the brands us hardcore guys would know. My Apache is a big damn deal at the docks. But in retrospect, my Stinger was a great all around boat. Just needed different drives.

Had a customer with a big old 80’s Chris Craft offshore. I never did see it in the water. Sat in his billion dollar horse barn for years. He told me last summer he sold it. It was brown and gold. Ugly colors, but was in excellent condition.

1st boat I owned, 1984 lil' Chris Craft Scorpion 169
185 hp v6 but would touch 60 mph
Went a LOT of places and through some rough stuff in that one
:)
