Mornin Ho's !:seeya:

Anybody want to help Me set some Davits this Morning? There's no Money in it...But You'll have the satisfaction of a

job well done !

Hey Bob, Is that a Kcar? Those are worth a lot of $$ on the Black Market:rofl:

There was a lot of chit built in the early 80’s. The K Car I believe was number 2 on the chit list. The Horizon was the number one POS!

The builder that has a office behind the dealership just had my body man redo his K Car convertible.:cheers2::huh: Maybe in another 20 years it will be worth $2500.00 ?

Mornin Ho's !:seeya:

I forgot to mention I had a Visitors on Saturday....Charlie and Candace stopped by and caught Me doing what I do best...Drinking Beer

on the Porch.:sifone:

Friend gave me his Horizon (or Omni, I dunno) when he left for Hawaii.
Worth every cent
FREE !!!

Rubber boot between intake and carb base failed.
Dump the clutch and worn out motor mounts would let the motor slam back into the firewall and knock carb off intake.
Have to get out and set it back on until I milled out an aluminum spacer/adapter to mount carb.
Real feat of engineering !!

The Yugo may have been tied for 1st. I knew it was going down as soon as I found out it had a Fiat engine. It also holds the record for the only car to fly off the Mackinaw Bridge.

When I was 15 a buddy across the street had a Sunbeam. He offered to bet me it could chirp the tires. I laughed and took the bet.

He reved that thing up and dropped it in gear at about 4000 rpms. It chirpped the tire alright. It rocked forward and stalled then rocked back it its original spot.

I lost the bet. Amazingly he started it back up and pulled away. Don't recall ever seeing it again.

Former co-worker built a Triumph TR5 that was really before it's time.
500+ hp stroked SBC and a LOT of suspension, brakes.
Built for road coarse.
Helped him adapt Chevelle spindles and brakes for the front.
It would do more than chirp tires too :)
