Whats wrong. nobody answered your question. Ive never used that pump piece. Looks nice and beats having an electic boost pump or such.

You need to increase all hose and fitting sizes thru filter and back to tank. Likely need to address pick up tube as well.

Id aim for 5/8 hose and 3/8 pipe fitting minimum to go with the #8 fittings on pump kit. you likely have a bunch of 1/4 pipe fittings now.
