I think my intercom system has a plug that might replace the handset on the VHF. Trying to figure out how else it would be able to PTT.

Anybody know how to connect an intercom system to the VHF? Do you plug the intercom into the mic jack?

Take a jim knife and clear the wires back. Use some yellow 110 wire nuts, hook to red to red, white to white. Etc. , drink a couple beers and let us know how you done! Then Bamm the crap out of it!
