Morning Ho's!!

Crane makes a pretty good lifter. You have to make sure you have the correct length pushrod though with that one. And are you going big lift to have to use that? If so, watch your overlap closely for possible reversion issues.

Probably overkill for the rpm you are going to run, (I'm assuming). But, overkill keeps things running well longer!!

Who's your engine builder?

.610 max lift. its the 731 cam with stainless marines so shouldn't have any reversion issues. looking to spin about 54-5500 rpm. Its just enough lift to get iffy with the factory dogbones... Engine builder is.... Gressman is dong the bottom end and lightening Jet (john) is helping me put the top end together. then we will dyno at Gressmans...

REcipe as evolving is a gen 6 forged 454 8.5:1, 731 cam, AK racing alum heads bowl work on intake bowl and port work on exhaust, (they flow better than AFR 320's) Inconel valves, powdered metal seats etc.. 177 blower @ 5 pounds boost and a Bill Mitchell modded 1050 dominator. should be a little over 600 hp.....

We are also raising the X 2 inches..... My best speed is 62 gps... any guesses with double the hp and the raised X ??

It depends on how high it was before. If it was 3" above the bottom before, it won't get on plane with it 2" higher!! Top speed 5.7!!:)
