Official... raise your post count thread!!

I was impressed at how it ran out of the box. Recoil is MUCH lighter than a standard 12 ga. quick double taps stayed on target, balance is nice....

I d want to replace the handle/factory sights with a red dot and replace the fore arm with a tooth and nail unit with rails.

Curious if you have used/considered a laser for that application rather than a red dot? I tried a few different red dots and wasn't happy with any of them and switched to a laser for fast target acquisition on the fly. I don't have to raise the entire thing to my eye to get on target, and I keep both eyes open and maintain situational awareness. Works for me. Just a thought, and I see you will have rails to work with.

Just had the front door open in showroom. Dam old ladies that empty the perfume bottle on themselves. We had to get some fresh air.

Saw on the News Yesterday that Walmart is the only store that doesn't honor it's online prices:banghead:

Might wait til I get home and see what the local Dealer can do.

Just a regular 870 .12 ga. Although I did like the camo version.

I'm not brand loyal, I was just very familiar with the 870, having owned one for 30 years.

The 870 is the most widely used shotgun platform for a reason. It works. There are probably a million of them strapped in cop cars across the US.
It's either an 870 or a Mossberg 590. The better gun is the one you are more familiar with. I was just curious because if it was an unusual variant that had your eye, you could probably find it on gunbroker.com for whatever the true predominant going rate is. Less than retail. Then you'd have to pay your local shop for the transfer, of course. But you could get the one you want, rather than whatever you can find in your area. Just a thought. I've had good luck with gunbroker. (Maybe you have too.)

Speaking of your area, marinized would be a nice touch.
