Anybody ever rack launch? I thought about trying it for a month, but I am afraid they will phuck my boat up. I don't mind trailering, but I could squeeze more rides in after work and stuff if I eliminated the haul time. There is a place on the river a few miles away.

I had found a reasonable rack launch down in the St. Pete area where a friend kept his boat and thought about storing it there winters at one point (right at the other end of a cheap weekly flight), but I lost touch with the friend over some shady stuff and the idea fizzled out.

Rack storage is a necessity down here...hate it....$300 a Month, + a $5 tip everytime you launch, or have it put on a work rack. Boats above you leak all kinds of sh*t,

Rats, Mice, and BIRDS!

Down at Torch River Marine 2 weeks ago with the dingy. Talking to some friends, guys putting boats in from rack storage. Couple young guys going 90 mph, my wife said this looks like a accident waiting to happen. A few moments went by, then one kids was not looking, the driver almost ran him over with a boat. Thought we were going to get to see a fight. There were some words flowing!
