I was just thinking about how amazed I am at my fuel economy in my boat compared to what I expected. I get the same or better "mileage" running two big blocks at lower rpms in a 28 foot boat than I did running two small blocks at higher rpms in a 26 foot boat. I can tell because I am running a lot of the same routes and coming home with no less fuel remaining.
