Bobcat comes by it naturally:
The names Matthews and Mathews in Ireland were brought into the country by settlers from England during the seventeenth century. Families with this name settled mostly in Counties Antrim, Dublin and Tipperary where, in modern times, the majority of descendants can still be found. Additional descendants can be found in Connecticut, the greater Chicago area, and Key West Florida. Descendants are known to be cops, firemen, construction workers, and golfers.
In all cases, Matthews descendants are either drunks with a fighting problem, or fighters who drink way, way too much.
Happy St. Paddy's Day, buddy.
