Spent the day playing in a charity outing. Beeyouteeful day too. 73 and sunny, light breeze.
4 man scramble team. I usually hold my own, but today I became the designated tee box weapon. I was driving 260 in the fairway consistently.
As a team we finished about 4 under.
Was cool to be the one who could clear the first stroke hazards on the long holes after starting out as the weakest link a decade or so ago.
Last year I got one of those Callaway Razors and I like it better than what I had been hitting.

Translation: I've slowly moved from the weakest to the strongest player on a 4 person team in tournaments where you play the best ball. And my specialty has become reliable driving the long shot at the tee. (First shot of a given hole.)
