Official... raise your post count thread!!

Feels like spring here at 32* after all this sub-human stuff we've had.
Grandson's B'Day today so going out to ride ATVs and Sled w/them in the 9" of snow we are living with.
They warm me up and are the only reason we're in Ohio this time of year:)

Cleared up. Looks like its a sunny weekend. Should hit the 50's. Not as nice as the keys, but better then a lot of places.

Mornin Ho's !:seeya:

Ran over a scooter yesterday, it was parked in front of the truck, I couldn't see it ....but I heard it. It was already beat to hell. I was there for about two hours working and nobody ever came out.

Making the best of it

Great time playing w/kids yesterday. Wife daughter and granddaughter smashed in the middle. And Daughter/Grandson in the first one. Jax was done sledding after 2 rides and all he wanted to do was ride the 4 wheelers with PaPaw the rest of the day. Priceless day:)

Out to heat the shop and get some work done today. Have a couple motor rebuilds going and finally got my parts so I can put them together and get em outa my shop. Supposed to hit 46* today!

Hey Ponch!

I need a Canadian perspective. Our local cable TV provider is in a battle with the local NBC station over the fee for retransmitting. The cable company has been brutal in their marketing campaigns against the local affiliate, with billboards, print ads, television commercials. You name it.

With the olympics coming, they are running this locally produced commercial to get people to watch the olympics on CBC instead of NBC.

"Oh Canada" rewritten. Appropriate, or not?

I think that if a Canadian cable company redid the Star Spangled Banner, we would probably be pissed.

I'm assuming you have Buckeye Cable.
That damn cable Co. has been battling with networks for over 15 yrs.
Must be a Union strong-arm mentality.

Did you work for Buckeye? Are they Union?

Of course it's about $$.
And strong-arming a contract.
And in the end, it's the customer getting phucked.

Hi Ho's!!! Canadians overall don't get offended by our national anthem being changed. Most would probably feel pride that Americans would watch our channel. Canadians did however get annoyed when the government wanted to change some of the lyrics, "like home and native land" they wanted to remove native because they thought it offended immigrants and something else. They also felt some of the song excluded Women. In 2010 so many people against change the government announced they would leave it alone. Drawback to Americans watching the CBC, they'll end up wanting Canadian Olympic gear, like one of our investors children.
