BAM

Hi Ho's! Another guy wants to look at my 420SEL tonight. Not very many people want these cars anymore, surprised two people looking at it this week.

Sort of interesting little video on the CDN/US border. Mentions the anomaly of Point Roberts, WA. Grew up next door to Point Roberts, family kept a boat in the marina at the point and we belonged to their yacht club.

Tuesday movie night. Its either going to be Fast and Furious or Hangover 3. Haven't decided yet. Don't really want to see either but its cheap and gets me out of the house.

I'm not sure why I'm also not interested in either one of those but will probably see them at one point. The Superman movie is looking promising if for no other reason, the cast of actors. Great coffee this morning and homemade blueberry and marionberry cobbler. The marionberries came from my old property. It is the simplest, fastest, best tasting cobbler ever - 1 cup self-rising flour, 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup softened butter. Mix, pour into glass 9 X 12 pan sprayed with Pam, cover batter with 1 layer of berries and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Too easy.

Hi Ho's! Giving Hangover III a 5 out of 10. Next Tuesday will be Superman (Man Of Steel) and I have high expectations for it. I need easy recipe's, sounds good.

3/4's of the world has no clue what a marion berry is. When I moved to Michigan, everybody is, huh?

For the rest of the world - it's a special type of blackberry hybridized here in Marion County Oregon. I've got a controlled patch of blackberries on the old property and a neighbor with Marion berries next store - no contest - Marion berries rock. We picked a lot at end of season last year and froze a bunch.

Hi Ho's! Think I'm going to do a day trip into the states. Need gas and with my Safeway reward points have the $1.00 per gallon discount. I'll have to check the gas prices at Safeway, but should have me paying around $2.89 per gallon premium. In Canada premium is $1.50 per liter. Even without doing the math that's a huge savings.

Safeway premium was $3.95 per gallon and got $1.00 per gallon off with reward points. So I was pretty close with my guess on price.
