Used to like their music....but it is so overplayed down here that I can't stand to hear it.

That Simple Minds song still gives me chills 28 years later....I was in the final months of my first hitch in the USAF.....reminds me of a lot of friends in lot of exotic places...Cool song and movie.

Hi Ho's! Your illegal Sunday work reminds of how we had blue laws in the 80's here. No Sunday shopping, no bars open, etc. Friends Mom owned a bar just across the border in a place called Point Roberts, on Sundays she would bring in local Vancouver bands. For Expo 86 they let bars open Sundays and within a few years her bar went bankrupt.

We had Blue Heaven in the 80s, but thankfully it didn't last long.
