Official... raise your post count thread!!

Check into shipping cost, too.
Might be cheaper to ship to a US location with "if it fits, it ships" deal.

Work, then hide in the van during thunderstorm....repeat thirteen times....finally gave up and cobbled a set of stairs back together so the poor bastard can get up and down......now the sun is coming out.....fug it..Beer Thirty!:sifone:

We have a cottage in Washington State that I use for shipping and my Direct TV. The UPS store also holds packages for pick up, done it a few times and works well.

We have a new Japanese place here that serves all you can eat sushi. Good value because what I order at the normal restaurant comes to $30. All you can eat is $19.95 and get about triple the food. So that's what I plan for dinner.

Its been raining all morning and it finally stopped. Taking advantage and walking the dogs before it starts again.

Oh crap, pork loin in the oven is burning................someone (me :))forgot to set the beeper on the thermometer :cuss:

Well, my pork loin was to be lunch meat anyway, so overcooked isn't that bad. Hope I don't screw up supper tonight.....steak fajitas with fresh green and yellow peppers.

I'm just wondering......why prune at all?

4+ years of posts from this thread....gone :(

Hey Mac, how are you doing?

The thread was so big, it not only slowed the site to a crawl, but made it impossible to do any updates to the software (we are still battling that one). The systems would time out before anything was ever completed. I guess we found out why all of the software comes with automatic prune features (that we had turned off). That's why old threads never get really big anywhere. You set the software parameters, it automatically goes in and prunes thread posts that fall within those parameters.

Mornoin Ho's !:seeya:

Think I'll paint some stairs for three hours ...then go stick a toe in the Ocean....see if I can do some snorkeling..

My new phone is stuck in Fort Lauderdale til tomorrow....which means no tunes....I know I have an old mp3 player around here somewhere's (how quaint)

Hey Paul, I'm doing good in the still frozen tundra of Wisconsin. Too bad you had to snip the thread. Seems like a lot of time and effort by us is now gone. At least our post counts stayed the same :)

It was a really tough thing to do I can tell you. Some of the conversations we had in there were outstanding. I now know why it was the biggest thread ever in a VBulletin site though. And I will not turn on that automatic prune feature. If it gets so huge again we can't keep it I'll do another update add to what there was and manually prune the middle of the thread a page at a time again. Takes a long time, but really is the only way to do it.

I also went in and printed out everyones post counts before the pruning and manually adjusted them to what they were. Guys like David went way down, as you can imagine.
