I've seen the Blue Angels countless times in Seattle during Seafair. The absolute peak experience I had in 1988 was standing on the sun lounge of my Scarab kinda out away from the pack of boats; one Blue Angel comes screaming down the lake just above the water - I mean VERY VERY LOW. Pilot makes a ridiculously tight turn just over my boat, the wing tip is directly over my boat, dripping water off wing onto sun pad and my bald head; I can clearly see pilot looking down at me. The roar was totally deafening shaking the boat and all the water around it. My wife bolts out of the cabin with my two young boys who are crying their heads off - I'm grinning like I've died and gone to heaven. Coolest thing ever!
