Good luck with the game


So who is going or has been to St Clair River races...?
Planning to take family early Sunday morning.
Went to St Clair Lake races years ago, but new to the river.
Any tips, tricks, or hints?
Places to watch, park, things to avoid???

My favorite race story from St Clair. Raining out and they call a delay. I leave Heidi under a tent hiding from the rain. I went in search of a outhouse. I was in front of the tent with the radio/online coverage people. I jumped in for a second to hide from the rain. The announcers thanked me for showing up and started to tell me nothing is powered up. I said I’m sure something is tripped by the rain. Looked around and found the problem. To this day I have no idea who they thought I was. They all thanked me and I was off to the outhouse.

Not going to be able to make St. Clair, but I had hoped to. I think phragle is going.

Had a blast playing golf yesterday. Our ringer was as funny as he was good. We shot an honest 8 under but it wasn't enough to beat the cheaters. lol.

Funniest joke from yesterday: Ringer: "Hey John, did you hear about the new Wal Mart going up?"
"No."
"Yeah, it's going up between Brad's tee shot and mine."

Weather in St Clair held out pretty well.
Back and forth hot sun and windy with few rain drops.
Then about 10 minutes of steady as getting back in the truck to leave.
VERY good time.
Awesome venue, lots of cool people, and super boats to see and watch.

Now back to work

Took the E250 to KW Yesterday....Ran good all the way down...and Overheated all the way back....Drive 5 Miles ..Pull over and Read a Book for twenty Minutes..

Also sip a Beer


Made it to Cudjoe in about Hour and a Half...Called Charlie to come and get Me

Ended up leaving the Van at His House ...That's one less broke down Vehicle in front of Mine:rofl:

Mechanic said He did all of that , and replaced the Thermostat...Now He says He didn't
