Looking like I may be headed down to Key West for the first time this year.
Any advice, ideas, or WARNINGS...???

Appreciate it
:)

OK, I was told a Bobcat could help me out sneaking beer into the pits...

I like my beer much better than over priced drinks

Paging Bob Cat...

Mornin !:seeya:

SBI always allowed Coolers....Might be different with RWO...Either way the Navy Chief's Beer Tent always have reasonable prices.

I think $3 for a 16 oz Can/Bottle . It's usually perfect Weather in November with a stiff Breeze and Sunshine.

I'm always in the Pits, and Charlie/Sonic31 is there with His Daughter ....Plenty Beer, plenty Port-a-potties !!!!

Wife is looking into accommodations and setting up stuff

Mermaid and the Alligator we have stayed at a couple times.

Haven't heard those mentioned yet.

Will ask her to look.

I do remember seeing a Sea Shell place somewhere but can not remember good or bad. That was on one of her lists

She is looking at ratings and reviews.
Seems to have it narrowed down.
Just asking me if REAL close or cheaper and a few miles away

Everything is close IMO. Rent a couple of scooters and leave the car parked. If you want to bring the boat you can leave rig parked at my house on Cudjoe Key.

The Sea Shell used to be a Youth Hostel (Shared Rooms) I know They had plans to redo it...I'll ask

Mermaid is walking distance to Duval and the Pits.

Fund stayed Briefly at the El Patio...

If You get a Hotel on the East Side of the Island, You'll end up spending any savings on Cab Fare.

You can also rent Bikes with baskets and get around pretty easily with no Parking hassles .

I think we are going to be good walking for most part, but will keep scooter option open.
THANKS for offering, but don't think the pontoon boat is making the trip :)

From what I was shown last night, I think we are going to be staying at the Laureate.
Looks 3-4 miles, or so I think.
Discussed this quickly last night.
I'll know more next few days.
We were just making sure son could get time off work before getting airline tickets set.

APPRECIATE it all everyone
:)

Looking forward to it
