I did mine all in one day on a Saturday. $100 included lunch and qualifying guns/ammo. The guy teaches in Ohio and Florida.
Anywho... a word on snubbies... if you like to shoot the snubbie, carry the snubbie. I carried a 642 for a year and switched to a compact 7 round 9mm. With one in pipe makes 8. They weigh about the same. BUT. Here's the thing... because the ammo is carried in the grip of a semi-auto, it is top heavy and feels much heavier to carry. The "magazine" of my revolver is at the belt line and center of the weapon. Much better balance. I had to get a better gunbelt just to carry a compact 9mm. Wants to tip outward. The balance sucks. Even with a good holster and good belt. Something to think about. (The 9mm is much easier to be accurate with.)
