Official... raise your post count thread!!

Parents are here and only about two blocks from me. Its raining hard, keeps knocking out my Direct TV. If it slows down I'll go for a beer run.
 
Maybe one day I'll go down. My Mom wanted to be here for Christmas and nephews birthday. She likes being a grandma and being around for him.
 
Good idea, I'll do Costco tomorrow. I almost forgot its my Dad's birthday, so took the parents for fish n chips.
 
Small problem. Was going to the store and got the clicking sound of a dead battery. Have a booster pack so jumped it. Lucky my mechanic was still at his shop. Checked it over and I need a new battery. Will get one tomorrow. The dealer charges $400 labor to change a battery. Its under the drivers seat and a real pain to get at.

I was "drunky" when I took that!

I should be in politics...I made $45 today, but spent $207 (not counting refreshments)

I have been meaning to buy a set of gravity boots and a bar to hang off of for around $158 (plus 6x6's to mount it in the ground) But instead bought an inversion table, seems safer...the final straw was this morning, after imbibing a few too many I went home with one of the ladies that sponsors our softball team...I couldn't sneak out (cad)this morning because of back spasms.....I also bought the MONDO 14 CUP Coffee maker....when 12 cups just ain't enough..programmable of course.
 
Hi Ho's! Off to buy a new battery, going to install it myself. Captain Jack Sparrow reminds me of meeting Johnny Depp. It was back when he was filming 21 Jump Street in around 88. Show was filmed in Vancouver. Saw Johnny Depp outside the airport smoking a cigarette went up and said hi. He had little photo cards of himself and he signed one for me. His limo arrived and he offered me a pop. He was pretty nice about the whole thing. I was 15. Also met Tom Selleck and Richard Dean Anderson, neither as nice as Depp was.
 
Need a specific bit to get the battery cover off. I'll have to get it from Porsche tomorrow. Can see why they charge $400 plus to change the battery.
