Official... raise your post count thread!!

Just got good news the other day. We can mine our property without state or county permits because its a federal patented claim. Permits would take about 18 months if we needed them. Means we can start mining anytime. Just need to raise some money and we can go at it.

Thanks! Hopefully we can do better then those guys on that show Gold Rush. Was sunny here today. Drove by a school and kids playing soccer in shorts on the field.

Good find Fund. My Dad wants to start a day and possibly a weekend fish charter business. He's convinced Nordhavn makes the best boat. Range and Ocean crossing abilities. Can take it from here down to the Caribbean in the winter. My uncle would run the boat when chartering, he's retiring and currently a captain of this: Spirit of Vancouver Island | BC Ferries - British Columbia Ferry Services Inc.

I am not an expert, but I have a similar perspective on Nordhavn. Your Dad may be right.
That's cool. I would love that for a retirement gig.

Good Lord man.....that's just a light dusting.....If it snows here.....THEN WE"LL PANIC !:willy_nilly:

Blocked in windows and A/C units all day.....filled em solid with concrete....I is tired....Beer tastes dayum good ...need to do laundry and hit the gym.....but first...another Ice Cold Bud Light.

I do like the Nordhavn. My brother and buddy were giving me a bad time while I was in the engine rooom of a Nordhavn at the Seattle Boat Show (in water) a few years back. I was saying how I'd re-do the wiring and plumbing such and such way....picky picky picky. My favorite sportsfisherman is a Feadship 86' -probably a custom. I saw it in Ft. Lauderdale a number of years ago "Gallant Lady" was the name I believe. Also used to love the 70' Striker sportsfisherman, all aluminum I think? If memory serves, wasn't Rodney Dangerfield driving a 70' Striker in Caddyshack?
