Yes guys, there are two orange wires from one post (on each of my alternators). The post is the BATT (output) post. I just didn't take enough pix when I disassembled the engines. So I actually don't remember where they hooked up at. Bob, you are probably right that they go to battery somehow maybe by way of the hot side of the slave solenoid.

Did you look at the pics of the backs of the alts I posted the link to?

Yeah I did Paul. It's just odd that there are 2 wires from that same BATT output post on each alternators.

But if you review the places the batt terminal is connected to on different wiring setups it may ring a bell....

Me too. But now it's probably made in china so it could be a reference to a flying mammal spelled wrong....

It was more like a foot of wet snow yesterday. -2 this morning. More snow coming Monday.

Over 80 inches of snow this year. More than Anchorage, Green Bay, Minneapolis, and Denver.
