BAMM!

They're all daily drivers....but three are down....one clutch(other non dumping flatbed)...one tranny (1/2 ton that I never drive)...and camshaft timing gear...(van full of tools)

Luckily I have the glow in the dark bike to make it to softball umping . New league starts tonight.

I have a 99 Cummins and can get 20 on the highway and 14-15 avrg. Better than my lil 4cyl Jeep. But diesel is a buck more a gallon here:(

Just pulled the crankshaft balancer....and timing cover...camshaft timing gear is missing a few teef...looks like I have to take all of the push rods out...then remove the bumper to slide the camshaft out......I might get pissed off and go by something with payments.....what kind of mileage does a dually Dodge diesel 4x4 get ? Its an extra cab...but if it doesn't have the little doors that open it's not worth it....Need to ask Paul how much is left on the SOS credit card :sifone:

What year Dodge?

Took a 99 Contour to the junk yard today, ladder rack on the roof and Bobcat would be all set. Ran great, pulled to the left pretty bad due to lack of a rusty frame. Would of been fine for Key West, you never get over 10 mph. I am not driving it down!lol

Have Wrink drive it down. He pulls to the left too I heard!! (Probably also a rusty frame!)

Couldn't you just pick-up a running junkyard engine?
Two motor mount bolts and 6-8 to the trans.
Swap in a few hours.

Still pretty windy out west; temps ok though. I've been sleeping eight hours a night - up from my normal seven or so. Coffee smells great.
