Buy a new one.....

We did, the important part- Don't get a front load fancy deal with 97 different programs you can do, stick with a top-load with the fewest buttons possible. We went with the Whirlpool Cabrio based on our repair guys recommendation combined with Consumer Reports. So far good to go. Our last Kenmore lasted about 18 years.

That's the plan exactly. Having this one apart confirmed everything that I read. I have one of those stinky, leaky Chinese front loaders at the other house that a tenant left behind in lieu of rent. (gee, thanks. did somebody forget the rest of the engineering here?) but the kid uses it now. I never even used it and I hate it. It's gonna be a basic Whirlpool top loader, just like you said.

Took advantage of the sunshine and cleaned cars. Glad I did because was selling one and someone wanted to look at it. They bought it, took delivery tonight. So I no longer have a Mercedes S430. Paid a tad over $100k in 02 for it new and few years later sell it for $6500. I'm never buying a brand new car again!

I agree

I have had some nice cars, and some I owned the year that they were made.... but I still let some other schmuck drive them off the lot. :)

Hi Ho's! Rain came back and 39° out. Id trade for colder temps and sunshine anyday. Going to wait for spring and get a used Porsche Cayenne. New they are about $90K for an S and now you can get a 04 for $16K.

Did a trip to the new Walmart. Have whole family coming over tonight so got supplies. Hostess is still alive here and bought a box of Twinkies. Been craving them for a few months since they went bankrupt in the states and everyone was talking about them in the news.

Down here we have a number of local bakeries that are stocking the stores with Twinkie, Ding Dong and Cupcake knockoffs - so were good, phew......

Still nothing like the real thing! Get 8 in a box of Twinkies, so we ate it in one shot. Think I'll buy another one tomorrow.

Still stuffed feeling from last night's dinner and snacks...
BBQ ribs
then cheese cracker and sausage platter
mixed nuts
brownies
cake...

I am set for a while !

Morning Ho's! Besides Twinkies also had chips n dip, etc. Dinner ordered Chinese food, my sister in law was born in China and she does the ordering. So it was a mix of what white people normally order and a few dishes never herd of before. It was good.

Hi Ho's! Thought it was a Denny's, but it was Chili's bar and grill. Not bad for a chain place. Its the first one in BC and can see it doing well. Movie theatre opening in same mall, dinner and a movie will be good to have.
