Official... raise your post count thread!!

1970 new Plymouth Superbird 440. Window sticker was around $4800 from what I recall, bought new in 1972 for just over $3K. The dealer was going to send it back to the factory to have it converted to a Roadrunner cause nobody wanted them. Too weird looking. There's one for sale now almost like it, $209,000 asking!

First house, new 3 bedroom, 2 bath, attached 2 car garage - $27,500.

The Jeep Wagoneer L we are looking at, $92,230......:banghead:

I hate to think about how things have changed price wise...
Shows my age for sure.
Last week I picked up a new hunting gun and shopped ammo.
My kids told me I was a liar when I told them how much bricks of .22 shells used to be.
Went and got one out of the stash with it's 1.99 price tag.
Told ya.
:)
Homes and car prices....
HURTS to think about those

Mornin! :seeya:

I thought about making an offer on the Rat's F250 4x4......But not after We went Island Hopping in Holland:sifone:

Here's the reason why everything costs more.....( This makes Me realize My Golf Bag is woefully underprepared )

Son and I both do have a lot of the Remington Golden big blocks now.

Hey Bob,

Do you know if it's true that Ford is bringing out a 2025 Expedition Max Hybrid? We're trying to get the largest tow capacity in an SUV that there is. That's why the Jeep Wagoneer L @ 10,000 tow versus 9000 on the current Expedition Max.

I think that Speros's Ford F150 Hybrid tows over 12K. That would be way cool if an SUV did the same.

Hybrids have more torque, too.

Having driven a hybrid (4 cylinder turbo plus two electric motors) since August, I would own a hybrid tow vehicle.
The new Tundra will be a V6 plus electric and the specs are outstanding. Kinda cool they didn't drop to a 4.

My latest "Genius" Idea......failed...I'm also disappointed that no one bit on the Island Hopping action...
