Ocean City 2012?

"Hi everybody, this is Jim from Bull on the Beach Race team, we made an announcement in Orange Beach that we are bringing offshore racing back to Ocean City Md. next year. I know its early but we need to start now. Bull on the Beach and Crab Alley will be involved in a big way. We need to know which teams are coming."

Looking for input and ideas. Who would be interested in racing, what would it take to get a big turnout.

Should it be OPA, OSS, SBI, All of them, some of them or none of them?

IMO you need to pick a Org to run things and have rules in place, however make it a invitational race. Emphasizing the Invitational, And getting it on someone's schedule is of the utmost importance. as teams will be looking at what races are in their budget!

One idea is make it a paid to show event, and the prize money in the form of a calcutta! If you want the prize money kick in the cash. This is like some of the high end fishing turneys. But still kicking ideas!!!!
