LOTO SHOOTOUT SPEEDS

Not sure if they had mechanical issue or if they donated some alcohol to Dave Scott for his motors, but they did not register for event

It was great to see the Time Bandit display, and Travis.
The Pirate Boat and Watch Your Back were in the Street party parade

The Fountain SVL was consistent with speeds and won, (I heard they may have sold it to someone at the shootout).

Wonderful event, worth the drive,,,,,,a must see for 2011

That is great news! Now there can be 2 boats in SVL P1 and the rest will race in classic SVL sans P1.

Team Roost 28 Saber from Kansas. Did not tell the speed, it was on replay...

Anyone familiar with the boat?

It was us...

Team KANSAS
Driver - Jeremy Ressler
Throttles - Brad Harrington

We races in the PV2M2 class and ran 83mph in all three of our runs. (Two Saturday and one Sunday) I was a little heavy on fuel and I have changed a couple of things from last year when we ran 85mph.. All in all it was a great event and fun weekend!! We were lucky to even get to run at all... On friday we sheared the Key off between the Crank and the Balancer... But with phone call to Jason at Lake Shores Marina, he showed up with a different balancer and got us going again!!!

That 177mph run was throttled by Jeff's wife Jaimee....now the unofficial "fastest woman on water"....

Now THAT is COOL !!! I remember a while back Jeff saying This would please him ,To invlove her in his passion .

Good for you Jeff .Seriously Thats how it should be done . Involve the whole family .
I bet you are prouder of that " stat " more than most any you have achieved .
Again nice job .

The class was not for 'one person'.
Out boat was the second boat to register for this class, and then Sunday the 3rd registration came from Octane.
If you ever decide to purchase your own race boat, we can spend the time to help you understand, the process.
Hope you enjoyed the activities of LOTO

Hey Doc, congrats on your 139 run! New shootout vee track record :cheers2:

Unfortunately on July 31st, a gentleman filled up his 38 ft Baja @ LOTO ( Camden on the Lake , aka Horney Toad) gas dock, and had a fire in the boat from a gas leak into the bilge.

That's really cool. Got a soft spot for Saber's living up here of course......

Well, from reading the results, it looks as if Lance and Shelly were moved to the modified engine class of the same class as the stock engine canopy Vee's in that length range. That's pretty much the way I read the rules, but am still waiting for the input from the secret society which make all of these classes. It's a little confusing to me....
