LOTO Shoot-out webcast

that was a great run! i dont know how it felt from the seat of your pants, but the fuzzy web view made it look like you were chining pretty bad. way to stay in it & top the saturday number.

'twas quite a ride...directly across from the traps was the cove Capt'n Rons is in...the wind direction was straight from the back of that cove right across the lake towards the traps...boat was tracking perfectly then suddenly was pushed sideways towards the bluff and over. Same thing happened on my second run Sunday so I backed out of it...was crazy. It takes a perfect run with the timing of the trim and throttle to get max speed in 1 mile.

Excellen numbers on your gun!!!!! Deep V and steps, you should be proud! Seems like were very close on speed to the other flat-bottom "V-bottoms" in your class!!:driving::seeya:

Thx! The guy in the Donzi put in 6-7 runs on Sunday...his line was to run way left from the start then turn back towards the traps in an effort to get the wind a bit more behind him...nice strategy as he was able to pick up a couple MPH.

Stinson just couldn't get the right combo together for props and acceleration.....By the time we were in the powerband we were just coming to the traps in the 130's but pulling hard. The tattle tale was like a huge number but not where it counted!!!! We did get it really squirrly at around 170 testing props...my bro's said they were getting ready to fish us out of the water....I said there wouldn't have been much left to fish out at that speed!!

Too bad Sean.

Have a good time??????

The webcast was really interesting to watch on a cold and crappy day up here.
Thank you to all that put this whole show on.

just saw his run, doesn't sound like 6000rpm...... 1075's?......

I asked Doc about this and he said stock 1075's on 93, he could turn them up but doesn't want to run race gas. Also the boat has half the exhaust coming out the sides of the boat so that changes how it sounds.

I believe that Gregg Mansfield mentioned they were not stock. I'd have to watch the tape but I believe that was the boat he was talking about.

It was...Grant in the Donzi was pizzed when he found out; there was talk of a stock 700 class and Grant was out there run after run trying to better his time...he had seen 108 GPS but after the traps. The Fountian (Mark Tuck)wouldn't open his hatch...I can only speculate that the smaller pulleys would have been too obvious...but he (Mark) did come look at mine. Personally I think it was great fun! Reggie and Shogren were out for the win...wish some of the other mfg's and dealers would get more involved...kind of like the fun between Skater and MTI. This is what this sport needs!!!

I've been trying to find an exact list of what classes there were. Is there the definitive list out there somewhere I'm missing?

Plus you're mean....:sifone: :) :sifone:

It was too bad anyone missed. Plus there were two with no reading at all. One was Outlaw Cowgirl. I wanted to see if she would do better than last year.

The course, rules and start was a little different this year. Good changes I thought.
Yes, no speed on Saturday. I was pretty up set but it was a very ugly run. The no wake zone was not being respected by the time I ran and it was pretty ruff. I ran 2 mph faster than last year but it was not enough to win my class. :( It really sucked not bringing home a win this year for me but Gordo won!!! Always someone faster than you out there.
Thanks to all the "big brothers" out there at the start area. You all make me feel so welcome. I am all waving like a little girl at everyone. Good lord!
Tommy Gun......BEAUTIFUL boat. I was drulling over her at the start area......HUBBA HUBBA! Great colors too.
I have GOT to work on B-Nauti. That engine has WAY more in her than what she is giving me right now. I need a new prop. I NEED more than 4800 RPMs. I need to pull that heavy azz hatch off and have that rebuilt. I NEED a shortie! I NEED CMIs! I NEED I NEED I NEED I NEED!
Okay, back to real life.
