Let's talk SVL's!!! 2010 is coming fast!

If there ever was a course that shouldn't have a straight line start its Biloxi. There is no way that 10 boats can go down that straight with out pinching people off. Between the poll's and the wall and on coming traffic its a bad start for more than half the fleet. Lift you lose and stay in it and wreck into someone else. Those are your choices! If we all agreed to equally pay out the purse money and raced for bigger trophy's I would love to do a 2 x 2 start with 5 rows deep. I will even start in the last row to give the newer teams a better start and chance on there first race in there new boats. If we start straight line it will be over after the first turn. This course is all about speed period. There is a possibility of big water on the outside but hasn't been a factor in the past.

Randy we all voted ,,and no one wanted 2x2 starts,, no one wanted 2 heat races,,and the purse is reward for doing your homework,,,plus the P-1 money pays back ALL 10 SPOTS,, you all ready got us back in the 2 heat races ,,please lets not push any more ,,,not on this forum... plus two years in a row we saw 10 cat lites start side by side ,,and their wasn,t any crying, it actually looked good,,,you tried to reinvent the wheel the last two years and look what we ended up with...lets go and race,,

Mark, Everytime you tell me you are off, I dont quite buy it!!!!! Im on to you two this year. That quite little soft spoken wife of yours and feeding me that Honey Bourben and only me and Jay are drinking it. I got your tricks all dialed in. Im suprised you arent running on 7 cylinders by now. George please with the, I just pulled it out yesterday routine. I bet you are loaded for bear.
Little poor old me will just have to come down there and have to give you a run for your money. Sean hasnt been in a race boat start in a couple years and we will even start on the outside due to the rules. But heck we like passing people.
Here is a good question. Is the pole position on the far right or left? The first turn or "dog leg" goes left. My point is there is no pole position on this course. Do we all understand the over take rules and when we can close the door. I seem to get it all messed up about this time of year. As you can tell my blood is pumping now and Im in race mode.
I heard the new teams have to wear a race suit and winter jacket the first year is that true?

We are working on it. Does any one have a extra drive in there trailor. Thats the only issue I see is if someone blows a drive. The motor is always good and the boat is good unless you are Gramaldi and Brad testing in 5 foot swells for the first time. I would like to do the pro am if its on Sat. but I believe it will be on Sun. which will leave no time for repairs if there is a issue. I will put my money on Unleashed in Pro Am.

I can not wait to see the SVL race.

IMO, there are plenty of fast boats in this class. It will interesting what Steve and Bob do. Both extremely fast boats!

I believe that Stan is trying to get to Biloxi this year.

We hope to also race the SVL this year but it will not come out until its 100%.
