When have we pulled threads?

If it's pure BS, then it has no business here. Other than that, if it's fair and honest it's fair game.

I think you guys have been way more than fair on the censorship issues.....

I can't remember a single locked/poofed thread on any subject when the posts were related to the subject. A few classifieds got locked when people made too many comments but that was in the classifieds....

As the moderator in there...(until Ratickle staged a coup) I can't remember locking a single marketplace ad. I remember trying to delete some comments.... and then giving up. :)

(Just kidding about the coup, Paul.) :D

So.... on topic... this trouble with LCM would mean that many more late model boats are being dumped into the market, again reducing values and extending inventory numbers.

Don't think I ever did a single mod in there, even when you were on vacation.

The boat overstock situation continues to get worse. Not a good thing.:(

I was kidding with you buddy. :D

But yeah... the overstock issue made me immediately think of the fountain/baja deal.

Boat dealerships as stand alone businesses are not ideal anymore.

You really need service and storage revenue generation to complete your business model. Boat sales are solely based on volume and like realtors right now if you can't sell you don't make any money. Service/Storage are still necessary whether or not the customer likes it or can afford it. Service can be somewhat delayed but if the boat needs a repair and the owner still wants to use it then he/she needs to pay to fix it. Storage is great (particularly rack storage) since the boat is hostage most of the time if the owner doesn't own a truck/trailer to get it out of there to avoid paying the monthly rate.
