There was a documentary made of the entire build and first year of racing...1986. That's why there was a high end film camera in the Lavin Agusta helo...
I have a tape of that documentary, but the copywrite is Lavin family property.

Just curious where might we be able to get a copy of the documentary that was made ?

Technically....it must be either used for promotional purposes, or given away and not sold. The family may have some copies left. Unfortunately it has a very sad ending.

Great article! I like how it mentions that race courses have been brought closer to shore for the benefit of the spectators-this was 24 years ago. Some old timers act as if racing close to shore is something new. :huh:
