shift linkage.jpgOk, I lost/misplaced the bellcranks (and rods) that mount on my tailstock and have rod linkage that shifts the transmission lever. It's TRS with VelvetDrive. I don't seem to even be able to find diagrams of my particular setup. Any help is greatly appreciated. Jeff

Lost? Sure man. Glad to help. All you had to do was ask.
Here:

Wondrous Saint Anthony, attentive to those who invoke thee, glorious for the fame of your miracles, you had the happiness of receiving in your arms our blessed Lord as a little child. Obtain for Jeff from His mercy this favor that Jeff desires from the bottom of his heart: needs bellcranks and rods for Mercruiser TRS, per diagram 78434; the whole kit would be righteous but hey, parts is parts and it's a TRS.

Since you were so gracious to poor sinners, do not regard the lack of merit on the part of him who calls upon you, but consider the glory of God, which will by exalted once more through you, by the salvation of our souls and the granting of the petition that I now earnestly present to you.

As a pledge of Jeff's gratitude, Jeff begs you to accept his promise to live henceforth more faithfully according to the teaching of the Gospel and to be devoted to the service of the poor whom you ever loved and still love so much. Bless this resolution and obtain for Jeff the grace to be faithful to it till death. Amen.

Ok. There. You should be good.

You may also be saved. I'm not sure.

Some redundant prayer is good John, as I already asked St. Anthony, but not the long version which I've certainly forgot from Catholic school. Obviously, I did locate a diagram but no bag with the parts yet. If St. A doesn't come through, I'm considering fabricating my own parts - geesh. Expecting the best though, thanks again.

Yes Paul, or dimensions or a closeup photograph from someone's boat. I will probably have to fabricate one myself.

Thanks Paul. I'm sure one of your boats has the same tailstock as mine mated to a 72 C going into a TRS transom plate.
