Happy B-day to the Big Nobody - Chris

Thanks guys.

Yesterday was one of those insane days. I was on the road all week so things stacked up. Saturday poured all day so no time to do what I had to do there. Come Sunday, I hit it early to get some outside stuff done, a quick trip over to Dad's for father's day and then back to get ready for my daughter's LAST dance recital (just graduated high school). This is my 14th consecutive recital and I spent 4 hours sitting in the dark next to a sobbing woman. So after another hour of me photographing hugging and sobbing, we're off to our usual post-recital dinner. I get there- the kids were already there. We're weaving through the restaurant and I see therm nowhere. Finally I ask my wife where the hell they are and we come upon this incredibly-decorated little private room. They duped me again. This is the second time I've walked into a surprise birthday party. The first one being at a ChiChi's where I ended up wearing a sombrero.

Later this morning I'll post pics of a really cool birthday present. Tony's gonna' love it.

That's awesome!!!!

Happy Birthday Chris. I can't thank you enough for what you have done here. It's a great place and you are the reason we have it.

Happy Belated. Nice present. The range guys will love you.

I took my HK 51 to the indoor range this winter. 7.62 NATO, 10.5" barrel. They were thrilled. The guy next to me was bleeding from his eye sockets when he left.

My favorite is taking the Lapua to the local gun club to fool with loads. Their range only goes to 350 yards, but it's a 90 minute drive to the long course. The benches are between two earthen berms. When it discharges, it's louder than a direct lightning strike. The oldsters with their Marlin 30/30's make the same faces sailboaters make when you idle in.
