I'm still just blown AWAY at how great the weekend went! We had the best weather of the Summer yet, and the powerboat gods were shining down on us by allowing for ALL of the boats to run fantastic and trouble free until all of the main shoots were finished. Sorry for the late arrival Sunday Ned! I was dragging a little ass that day, but happy to throw Pop Gun back in for some additional footage. :cheers2:
It was hectic at times out there having so many boats trying to get into various formations, and of course getting those coveted air shots! :driving: Having said that, everyone came home safe & sound, all because of my posse of experienced buddies, that I've ran with every weekend for years, in every kind of conditions. I can't remember a single time where I was nervous about ANYONE not paying 100% attention to driving their boat safely, while putting on a GREAT show. :coolgleamA:
Thanks to ALL of my best friends for being a part of likely to coolest thing I've ever done on ol Grand Lake. Most of all, thank you to Lori, Jay, & especially Ned for making the trip out here, and thinking enough of us Okies to do a feature in your beautiful magazine. I will never forget it. :USA:
