built the proverbial boat in the basement this week, massive fu*king bookshelf /curio stand, going into a room with a sloping ceiling, height of ceiling 93.5 inches , bookshelf 91.5. had to cut 1.5 inches off of the bottom to get it in place,homeowner calm, girlfriend freaking out when I cut it in place with my circular saw while lying on my side(eagle eye)have to have the whole room done by thursday at noon:ack2: it's a good thing I was a drunk before I started this project, cuz it would have driven me to the demon rum. I also made an inappropriate pass at one of the friendlier dogs(female):reddevil:

I was freshly married to my ex-wife, (before she became an ex of course) and the Mother-in-law requested me to build her a cabinet for her 3rd bath.
Built it in my basement shop. Stained and finished it, ready to deliver and install.
It wouldn't fit up the stair and turn the corner out the door.
I had to remove a basement window (including the full frame), and shoot the thing out the opening into my neighbors yard to get it loaded into my truck.

Funny the things you sometimes have to do to complete construction projects.

I ran out of toilet paper in the middle of my morning constitution.......there was some insulation sticking out of the wall (damaged during Hurricane Georges circa 1998) I used it to finish my business.......gotta tell you not a good decision............

4:30 sunday afternoon........tried to trim my back hair with an electric razor.......it bound up and damn near snapped my wrist.....tried to cut it out with a pair of scissors but dropped them ....they never hit the floor........lost in the back hair Nebula.
