Well, so far they don't like guardian mode. (But it probably saved their engines.)

Yea I just read the article on their debut in St. Clair .

Great team I just want to see them succeed . I hope they Experiment with piston power for a while . The Rumble , and the experience of those two should make some us happy standing on the beach , listening when they go by . ( big Smile )

The boat is in Michigan City. Looks to be a bit rough after the mess that went through last night.

Ahhh, this is where it gets a bit iffy, but I'll give you what I've dug up.

I am almost positive the boat Geico is campaigning now is actually a Maritimo hull designed by Peters. However, before Maritimo campaigned thier own hulls, built where they build their yachts I believe, they campaigned both a Victory hull and a Tencara hull.

So, I'm not 100% positive, but almost sure. How's that for a political answer?

From a member who should know;

That is a 1999 (probably 98) Victory hull, that Victory won a Class 1 championship in then sold it to Maritimo. Michael Peters designed, Victory built. (don't forget, that was the time frame when Gary Stray worked at Victory, no doubt a positive for them with this boat now).

So it is the last Victory hull they ran. Maybe they haven't campaigned one of their own hulls yet? I know they were saying they would.

Got rid of the guardian mode, We are grown men and We dont need no stinkin guardian:smash: it was a whole different boat testing in Michigan City

Different good... or different bad...? Btw... you remember a guy coming up to you and introducing himself by mentioning that you are much taller in person lol? Pleasure to meet you!

Definitely different good, looking at the vid Scotty linked up.
