Favorite Restaurant??

I've almost completely given up eating steak at restraunts... I like my steak very very rare and I'm constantly amazed at how hard it is to NOT cook a peice of meat... We actually walked out on a bill at a pretty upscale place a couple years ago because they screwed up our meals repeatedly. Just got up and walked out... Fired up my buddy's Top Gun and drove away... Got to be an infrequent occurrence to dine and dash in a Top Gun.

I like the Chicago Chop House and La Cave in Newport Beach for steak. Suprisingly, Outback is one of the few places that doesn't cook the crap out of it. Never have good luck at Mortons or Palms.

Also really fond of Johnny Rebs for BBQ in Long Beach. But my favorite restraunt is probably TK Burger in Huntington Beach. Right on PCH. Outdoor seating and hot young cashiers... Stay classy HB!

Moma Mia's in Levenworth Kansas best around K.c.

You must be kidding! I visited Leavenworth, KS to see my sister a few months ago. Momma Mia's looked like someone's house and you felt like you were sneaking in the backdoor to eat there.

Leavenworth is famous for the prison (Michael Vick is there now) and the military base.........NOT FOR RESTAURANTS!

Did you eat there. Yeah it's nothing fancy but was good food.

Several mentions of Morton's for steak in this thread.

I've only been to the one at Caesar's in Atlantic City, but I thought it sucked both times I was there, as did the people I went with each time. I would have rather gone to an Outback and pocketed the extra $$.

Peter Luger's in Brooklyn gets my vote for steak.

Get Joe's Stone Crab in South Beach--TO GO. Same great food, and you are in and out in 10 minutes instead of 4 hours+.

. . . . but if you go over to Europe, make sure you eat in any family run Italian restaurant. The entire family serves you, the food can't be any fresher or delicious! . . .

Amen to that, I did not know what food was till i went there. We toured on our own and found some out of the way places that were incredible. I will go back for the food alone.
